Toshiba has demonstrated a new 3D display panel which eliminates the need for users to wear special glasses. This technology is featured in Toshiba's Qosmio notebook latest prototype, which can overcome the problem of perspective with eye tracking users with a webcam and compensate for changes in position.
Toshiba also said the company was working on glasses-free 3D TV, are expected to arrive on the market before the new Qosmio. Satellite notebook series has included a 3D model, the A665 3D Edition, but still need special glasses to see 3D dimension.
Qosmio free 3D glasses are currently being planned to be marketed before the end of 2011. Toshiba has not completed the final design or announce pricing information.
